What we collect

When you contact us through this website, we may collect your name, company, email address, role, area of interest, message content, selected request type, and the page you contacted us from.

Why we process it

We process contact data to respond to enquiries, schedule demos or follow-up conversations, discuss trials or pricing, handle support requests, and keep a record of relevant commercial dialogue.

Legal basis

Our processing is based on legitimate business interests in responding to relevant enquiries, maintaining customer and prospect dialogue, and protecting the website and contact form against misuse.

How long we keep it

We keep contact data only for as long as it is relevant to the request, customer relationship, or follow-up dialogue, unless a longer retention period is required by law or contract.

Who we share it with

We may use trusted hosting, email, and infrastructure providers to operate the website and handle communication. We do not sell website enquiry data.

Security and abuse prevention

The contact form uses basic anti-abuse protection and stores requests in our WordPress administration area for operational follow-up. We review access and retention as part of normal site administration.

Cookies and tracking

Necessary technologies

We use technologies that are necessary to operate and secure the website, protect forms against abuse, and remember your privacy choice. These technologies are always active and are not used for audience measurement.

Optional analytics

If you select “Accept analytics”, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand visits, traffic sources, landing pages, and selected website actions, including trial, demo and pricing interactions and contact forms accepted by our website. The information may include an online identifier, approximate location derived from the IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, timestamps, technical campaign parameters, and approved interaction events.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, company names, form contents, free-text messages, account identifiers, or contact identifiers to Google Analytics. Google Analytics is blocked by default: no Google Analytics script, request, cookie, or consent signal is sent until you actively accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the website or its forms.

We currently use analytics only on regtechdatahub.com. The separate RegSearch application at home.regtechdatahub.com is not included in this analytics setup, and we do not link browser identifiers between the two hosts.

We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing, or personalised advertising. Google Signals, user-provided data collection, granular location and device data, and advertising personalisation are disabled.

Cookies and retention

Your choice is stored in the necessary first-party cookie rtdh_consent_v1 for up to six months. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and a measurement-specific _ga_* cookie. Event-level and user-level data in our Google Analytics property is retained for two months. Standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer.

Provider and international processing

RegTech DataHub determines the purpose of this analytics use. Google states that it processes Google Analytics data under its data processing terms and describes its safeguards for international data transfers in its documentation.

Changing your choice

You can reject analytics or withdraw your consent at any time through the permanent “Cookie settings” link. Withdrawal removes the analytics cookies that we can control from the current browser and prevents further analytics collection after the page reloads. It does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal or automatically remove statistics that have already been aggregated.

Your rights

You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data that we hold about you in relation to a website enquiry or business dialogue. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You may also contact us about your applicable data-protection rights or lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency.
